Pekel webPekel

Pekel is a group of dyed-in-the-wool men. Three of them are making music since the seventies in the last cencury. The youngest of the group has only been playing for a quarter of a century.
Both as a group but also individually they performed from Delft to Montreal, from Lisboa to Appingedam.

Jim Mageean

 Jim Mageean

Jim Mageean has been a leading figure in the world of maritime music for many years and has been involved with Liereliet from the start.

Jim has been involved with Liereliet from the beginning. Without him and his then singing buddy Johnny Collins, Liereliet might never have gotten off the ground.
We are very happy that he is participating in the. "JIB" as well as with his own video
'Li-Li-Li' concert.

Kat yn t Seil

Kat yn't Seil

"Kat yn" t Seil "was mainly active in the period from 1986 to 2005.
The group played at home and abroad with folk repertoire in Dutch and Frisian.
They also played many traditional Dutch dance melodies.
Songs with maritime themes have always been an important part of the repertoire.
In recent years, they sometimes performed together again, and those were always exceptionally special moments.

Nanne Ankie actie

Nanne & Ankie

Ankie and Nanne have been playing together since 1980, initially in groups such as Irolt, Kat yn 't Seil, Liereliet and Kajto and later mainly as a duo.
From that moment on, they have also been involved in the maritime song culture of the Netherlands - as researchers and as singers - and they are therefore considered leading musicians in this field.
Many traditional songs by sailors and fishermen - in Dutch and in Frisian - they have found and made known again.
In addition, Nanne & Ankie have - over the years - made a number of music theater programs with maritime, historical themes.
Singing in Dutch, Frisian, Esperanto and sometimes in other languages they released over 40 albums on LP and CD
They regularly make concert tours in countries such as France, England, Spain and Germany, but also outside Europe: in recent years they have made various tours in America and also in Australia and Asia.

Onst Sch1

Onstuimig Schuim

Onstuimig Schuim has been associated with the Liereliet for years and they absolutely want to be there.
They have a special place in the world of Maritime music and enjoy performing their singing and music with theatrical aspects.
