Her program series Crosscurrents:Sense of Place in Song and Story has toured every province and territory in Canada and much of the United States. Her book VOYAGES:Canada's Heritage Rivers was voted Best Conservation Publication of the Year by the Natural Resources Council of America, and her living history portrayal of Northwest Company fur trader Lisette Laval Harmon earned the inaugural award for education leadership from the Canadian Heritage Rivers System. A native of Boston, Massachusetts, with family roots in Nova Scotia, Lynn is a true North American and a longtime community leader in folk and traditional music.
